Our main mission at Blue Grazer Records is supporting unsigned, DIY musicians in any and every way we can. One of those ways is through Spotify playlisting. There are a lot of sites and services out there who offer playlist curation. Unlike many of them, we aren’t interesting in starting stream teams or using bots to artificially increase streaming numbers. Instead, our focus is on finding quality music and helping it reach the ears of listeners who will appreciate it.
That’s where the “Shine a Light – Indie Music Spotlight” playlist comes in. Curated by our own Kevin Williams, this playlist features some of our absolute favorite tracks from up-and-coming independent artists. You can find this playlist, as well as our other playlists, using the links below. The playlist is updated with quality songs as we discover them, so make sure to save it and check back on a regular basis.
Not a Spotify user? We’re sure you have your reasons…reasons that are totally legitimate and completely understandable. We share those same concerns. However…Spotify also happens to be where a majority of streaming listeners (over 31%) get their music and, as a result of that, it’s where most independent musicians focus their promotional efforts. Until that changes, we will continue to support musicians on Spotify as well as on all other platforms that they choose to release on.
